100,000 sign petition for Johnston release

The petition launched on April 2 in The Guardian, with an initial 300 signatories from the journalistic community. Around 6,000 people have also posted messages of support on the BBC News website.
Johnston, the BBC's Gaza correspondent, disappeared on the afternoon of March 12 and has not been seen since.
