BBC bags four Banff awards
The BBC went home with four awards last night at the Banff TV Festival in Canada.

EastEnders collected the award for best telenovela and drama serial programme, The Wrong Trainers series won in the best animation category, and BBC Worldwide's Jackanory: The Magician of Samark won in the children's category. Tiger Aspect's The Vicar of Dibley for BBC One was voted as best comedy.

Channel 4 scooped one award for the Borough Films programme Death of a President. ITV Productions also won an award for the Moors murders drama See No Evil: The Moors Murders.

Spike Lee's Hurricane Katrina piece When The Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts took the Grand Prize.
