The most watched show in its run, which saw Simon Ambrose declared the winner, peaked at 7.4 million and a 29% share in the final 15 minutes. The show has averaged 5.5 million and a 22.6% share over the entire series.
Follow-up show The Apprentice: You're Hired! on BBC Two pulled in 4.2 million and a 18.4% for half an hour.
Both shows beat of Channel 4's Big Brother which struggled with 2.1 million and a 8.5% share, but the BBC could not match the 7.9 million that ITV1's Britain's Got Talent managed at 10pm, giving it a 33.9% share.
