Comedy Smalls bring new talent to Paramount

Five winners have been chosen for the The Comedy Smalls, a competition aimed at discovering new comedy talent.
Created by The Smalls in association with Paramount Comedy and Creative Review, each of the winning entrants is awarded the opportunity to have an original idea commissioned by Paramount Comedy.
The winners were: All Cats Are Grey In The Dark by Jon Riche and Spencer Jones; Britain's Best Mates by Jamie Glassman, Matthew Steer and Jon Levene; Jackie & Debra by Clay Weiner; Le Grande Content by Clemens Kogler and Love Letters by Matt Bloom.
The judging panel included comedian Andrew Maxwell, Paramount's Kathleen Hutchison, head of new comedy, Chris Hancox, vice president marketing & creative, and Matt Coe, the channel's head of creative.
The Smalls is a curator of independent short-film, committed to the discovery and promotion of new film-making talent through thesmalls.tv, competitions and events. Its community website, thesmalls.tv, is for film-makers of all disciplines, and allows members to upload their films, have them rated and receive comments.
