KidsCo looking at UK channel launch

KidsCo is reportedly looking to move into the UK kids TV channel market after obtaining a licence from Ofcom.
The company, which was set up by Sparrowhawk Media, DIC Entertainment and Nelvana, and is believed to be in carriage discussions with Sky and Virgin Media.
KidsCo managing director Paul Robinson, a former Walt Disney Television International managing director, said he hoped the channel would have a "UK presence" by next year.
