Chris Evans criticises BBC "moaners"
Published Saturday, Jul 21 2007, 16:06 BST | By Daniel Kilkelly

The Radio 2 star admitted that many DJs are unhappy that they cannot currently run competitions, but he can't understand what all the fuss is about.
"The Beeb and its staff are still reeling and personally I'm already bored of it all," Chris explained. "I wish our presenters would stop moaning about it on air via half-hearted attempts at irony. If your show can't survive without a phone competition then maybe you should consider another line of work, like a trappist monk, for example."
Director General Mark Thompson announced that competitions were being suspended earlier this week, after further editorial breaches were discovered in an audit.
