Thorp earns promotion at Fox UK

Jason Thorp has been promoted to managing director at Fox International Channels UK from his current position as SVP and Deputy MD at the broadcaster.
Thorp oversaw the launch of FX UK in 2004 and is credited with bringing shows such as Dexter and Nip/Tuck to the channel.
Formerly programming director at Sci-Fi Channel, he reports directly to Hernan Lopez, COO of Fox International Channels.
