ITV in talks with Virgin over DTT space
Published Thursday, Aug 23 2007, 09:47 BST | By Joanne Oatts

Since ITV Play was replaced with ITV2+1 earlier this year, ITV has been deciding what to do with the channel. Plans for a movie strand had been considered but are not thought to be going ahead.
According to Broadcast, ITV is considering a sale or a lease deal for the spectrum, and the cable group are reported to be interested.
The soon to launch Virgin 1 channel will only have the capacity to broadcast from 8pm to 6am, replacing Virgin Media's existing channel Ftn, which is on the same multiplex as ITV2+1.
