Sky News has reportedly broadcast a programme from US news network CBS which included pictures showing Princess Diana receiving medical treatment following the car crash that killed her.
The Guardian reports that Sky News aired the pictures of the late Princess clearly being given oxygen at the scene of the fatal Paris car crash during a broadcast of a CBS Evening News programme in the early hours of the morning.
Earlier this year, Channel 4 was at the centre of a controversy over pictures shown in its documentary Diana: The Witnesses in the Tunnel, the images in that programme had Diana's head blocked out, whereas the CBS report Could Diana Have Been Saved? clearly shows the Princess. CBS is still showing the report on its website, cbsnews.com.
Sky News has chosen not to show live coverage of the Diana memorial service being held at the Guards' Chapel today, which is being shown on BBC One, BBC News 24, ITV1, CNN, Fox and EuroNews, saying the move was an "editorial decision."
