Channel 4 appoints daytime head

Channel 4 editor of daytime Helen Warner has been promoted to daytime commissioning editor at the channel, according to Broadcast.
In July, Adam MacDonald, the previous daytime commissioning editor, left Channel 4 to become controller of ITV daytime.
Warner, who has previously worked at ITV and GMTV, will report to head of Channel 4, Julian Bellamy, and look after shows like Countdown, Deal or No Deal and Richard & Judy.
