ITV has confirmed that it plans to dispose of Men & Motors.
The motoring-focused channel, which is available on Sky and digital cable, has been classed as a non-core asset by ITV plc and will be sold along with other resources including Screenvision US and MUTV.
Men and Motors was set up in 1996 under the Granada Sky Broadcasting umbrella. ITV is now the full parent company of GSB, but it is understood that Sky would receive close to half the proceeds generated by the channel's sale.
