V Good Films has announced that Victoria Powell has assumed full ownership of the company following the departure of co-founder Bruce Goodison.
Powell and Goodison formed V Good, previously known as Be Good Films, in 2004. The production company has been behind shows like Channel 4’s Tony Blair Rock Star and the Gail Porter-fronted Baby Shopping for Sky One.
Commenting on his departure, Bruce Goodison said: "I have decided to leave V Good to focus my efforts on directing compelling films." Goodison is currently making a cine-doc drama called The Age of Stupid with Franny Armstrong in preparation for the Sundance Festival, and is close to signing another deal with a major indie.
Victoria Powell, managing director of V Good Films, said: "We were sad to see Bruce go as we had a great creative partnership. Since then the company has gone on to win many more popular factual commissions and our first series Inferno 999 is currently airing on Five. My next challenge is to build on this success and continue the growth of the company. I’m really looking forward to taking the business to the next level."
