'X Factor' trumps the King
BBC One show The World's Greatest Elvis was no match for the might of the The X Factor on Saturday night.

The search for 'the King' at 6.55pm attracted 3.4 million viewers and 17.8% share over 55 minutes, with ITV1's talent showcase pulling in 8 million and a 44.6% share over the hour from 6.25pm.

ITV's other entertainment shows continued to be a hit with the viewers, with Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway attracting 6.9 million and a 33.4% share at 7.25pm.

The 40-minute Elvis results show did manage 4.1 million and a 20.6% share at 9.30pm, beating ITV1's Elton John: Me, Myself and I, which took 3.2 million and a 17.7% share over 90-minutes from 9.40pm.

BBC One's biggest success of the night was medical drama Casualty, which pulled in 6.5 million and a 30.1% share.
