'Call Girl' pulls in 1.8 million for ITV2
The debut The Secret Diary of a Call Girl really 'pulled' for ITV2 last night.

The drama about a high-class hooker, which stars Billie Piper, grabbed an average 1.8 million viewers and an 11% share in multichannel homes over its half hour slot, peaking at 2.1 million just after it started at 10pm.

A repeat of Eastenders on BBC Three pulled 886,000 and a 5.5% share the same slot, making ITV2's drama the most watched multichannel programme at that time.

The new series of US show Entourage performed reasonably well with 255,000 viewers and a 2.1% share at 10.30pm.

The Ten O'Clock News on BBC One managed 5.4 million and a 28% share in comparison to ITV2, with ITV1's documentary Commando: On the Front Line managing 2.2 million and an 11% share at 10pm.

ITV attracted 3.8 million viewers with another new series The Whistleblowers on ITV1 at 9pm, managing a 17% share over the hour. However, it was beaten by BBC One's Who Do You Think You Are?, featuring Carol Vorderman, which attracted 6.3 million viewers and a 28% share from 9pm.
