The Digital TV Group, the UK's industry association for digital TV, has launched a search for its new director general.
Richard Lindsay-Davies, who has been with the group for four years, is leaving to become commercial development director at BBC-ITV joint venture Freesat.
"Richard brought a range of experience, from engineering through to consumer marketing, to the role of director general," said Digital TV Group chairman Professor David Youlton. "Under his successful leadership the Digital TV Group has continued to play a key role in policy-forming and decision taking as the industry moves ever further along the road to Digital Television. I thank Richard for all his hard work over the last four years and wish him all the best in his new role at Freesat. I look forward to Richard continuing to contribute to the important work of the DTG, albeit with a new focus."
