'Wannabes' producer joins Somethin' Else

Mike Dicks has been appointed head of interactive at Somethin' Else.
Dicks joins the production company from Illumina, where he held the position of head of development. During his time at Illumina he executive produced the BBC online soap Wannabes, a 14 episode series commissioned for the BBC's teen website.
"Mike has exactly the right combination of talent, vision and innovation to lead Somethin’ Else in the interactive arena and produce original, ground-breaking cross-platform properties," said Somethin' Else managing director Steve Ackerman.
