Current TV launches UK website
Published Tuesday, Nov 20 2007, 12:09 GMT | By Neil Wilkes

The site allows users to watch videos airing on the broadcast channel, as well as upload their own video messages commenting on the network's content.
Current's new media president Joanna Drake Earl said she hopes the service will encourage viewers to work together on "citizen journalism" projects.
"Our research has shown that more than 70% of our 18-34-year-old viewers watch TV with their computers already engaged," she explained. "By understanding how young adults prefer to get information and the kind of stories they're interested in, we've created a real two-way conversation with our community that will flow between TV and the web in a continuous circle of participation."
