FX to show MySpaceTV content
Published Monday, Nov 26 2007, 15:41 GMT | By James Welsh

Videos uploaded to a special Wanna be on FX? page on MySpace will be featured "as part of FX's comedy block and combined with existing programming, including Family Guy and The Newsroom".
"Since it launched, MySpace has attracted highly creative users who have produced some brilliant and hilarious content," said Cecilia Parker, communications director at Fox International Channels UK. "It is great to be able to reward that creativity with a television broadcast on FX."
The first Wanna segment will air on November 29, with the slot initially scheduled for a 10 week run.
"MySpaceTV provides a platform for users to express themselves through video and generate their own original content," said James Fabricant, director of video and head of entertainment in Europe at MySpace. "This exciting deal allows us to take things one step further, by giving our users the chance to have their talent aired alongside professional programming."
