BBC channels to launch in Poland next month

BBC Worldwide's global channels bouquet will launch in Poland next month, it has been announced.
BBC Entertainment, BBC Lifestyle, BBC Knowledge and CBeebies will appear on the Cyfrowy Polsat platform from December 2.
Several acquisitions for the channels have also been announced.
The entertainment channel will show Kudos's Life on Mars and Star Stories from Objective Productions while BBC Lifestyle will get Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares and The F-Word.
BBC Knowledge has picked up RDF's The Secret Millionaire and Ross Kemp on Gangs and CBeebies will air Numberjacks and ToddWorld.
BBC Global Channels director of programming EMEA John Taite commented: "We are delighted to be launching our new channel portfolio in Poland with such a fantastic line-up of programming.
"By adding award-winning acquisitions to our premium BBC programmes, we will ensure our Polish viewers enjoy the very best in innovative, high-quality television."
