BBC issues 'Upstaged' casting call

The eight-week show will go out online and on BBC Three. The first five weeks of programming will go out exclusively online, after which BBC Three will feature selected acts.
Over the duration of the series, members of the public will audition in two glass boxes in Bristol's Millennium Square. Performers may adapt the boxes to serve as stages, exhibition spaces or platforms - so acts can do anything from showcasing art to singing, as long as it entertains the nation long enough for them to make it through to the next day as governed by an online vote.
Tim Hincks, chief creative officer of Endemol UK, said that the project was "one of the most ambitious" ever undertaken by the company.
Applications to take part are now available on the BBC Three website.
