Greening, who hosted the station's breakfast show with Zoe Ball between 1997 and 1998, died in his sleep on Saturday, aged 44.
Metropolitan Police are treating the death as "unexplained" after a post-mortem examination failed to establish a cause.
A man in his 50s was arrested at the address in Wandsworth, South London, where Greening's body was found. He was questioned on suspicion of possessing and intending to supply Class A drugs, and bailed until March.
Greening worked more recently at BBC Radio 5 Live and on the afternoon show at London's Smooth Radio.
