Ladbrokes accepts Turf TV into shops

Ladbrokes has agreed to show Turf TV in its 2,200 betting shops.
The chain had been in dispute with Turf TV because it is a partner in rival channel Satellite Information Services. Ladbrokes had even launched legal action which is now expected to be dropped.
Turf TV, a partnership between 31 racecourses and technology group Alphameric, will now announce a five-year deal to see it broadcast in Ladbrokes.
It comes two weeks after fellow big chain Coral agreed a deal with the channel. William Hill and Betfred have not but are under increasing pressure as courses sign deals with Turf TV.
