Power has launched a home entertainment division and appointed Andy Schreiber to run it.
The UK producer and distributor recently released Flood, a mini-series for ITV, as a feature film DVD and was impressed with sales.
It wants to expand in the area and sell productions globally.
Schreiber becomes senior vice president of Power Home Entertainment, responsible for launching it as a label in "selected markets" and sell productions worldwide.
President of worldwide sales Chris Philip said: "Andy offers both the experience and the vision necessary to oversee the launch of a new Power brand in a rapidly evolving area of our business."
Schreiber founded distribution consultancy Forward Marketing International and has worked on home videos, programming and marketing for Playboy Entertainment Group.
