GCap Media is closing two of its DAB digital radio stations and has removed one from digital satellite.
Music channel Core will cease broadcasting today and Life will shut in the near future. Chill, meanwhile, is still on air on local DAB but has been taken off the satellite platform.
Core's programme manager Bern Leckie said in an e-mail to listeners: "We've had a great time bringing you fresh hits since the launch of DAB digital radio in November 1999, and putting you, the listener, in control of what you wanted to hear."
