Telegraph TV grows after strong downloads

The Daily Telegraph is to expand its Telegraph TV web service after judging it a success.
Telegraph Media Group said there were 3.4m video downloads in November by 794,000 unique users.
In response it has improved the Telegraph TV News Now service and embedded it in the Telegraph.co.uk page. It now offers nine video news items.
Other Telegraph TV offerings include comment, business, fashion and sport shows.
Telegraph Media Group digital editor Ed Roussel said: "We have something that right here and now is taking off and we can demonstrate that it's taking off.
"Our news programme has been very successful and it feels right. It is as simple as that: a lot of people like it.
"One of the reasons that people like it is because we are a news organisation with a certain perspective that people in this country like and can't get elsewhere."
A daily audio podcast and printable PDF of news stories have been stopped as they were less popular.
Roussel said: "We're going to be tougher now on calling the shots on things that don't work."
