Global Radio has praised the team operating Heart 106.2 after the station's breakfast duo - Jamie Theakston and Harriet Scott - moved ahead of the competition to become the most listened-to breakfast show in the capital.
915,000 listeners tuned into Heart's show over the fourth quarter of last year, compared to 864,000 who tuned into Capital's show between 6am and 9am and 811,000 who selected previous breakfast show leader Neil Fox on Magic.
"London is driving success for Global Radio with this outstanding set of RAJARs," said Global Radio executive director Richard Park. "The results are testament to Heart 106.2’s ongoing commitment to innovative programming and feelgood music which resonates with our listeners’ lifestyles."
