"Landmark achievement" for LBC

LBC has achieved its highest-ever audience share according to today's RAJAR results.
The talk station's share of listening during the fourth quarter of 2007 was 3.8%, up 0.7% from the previous quarter. 642,000 listeners tuned in, up 56,000 from the third quarter.
The station had particularly strong growth at breakfast, with Nick Ferrari's show recording its highest ever reach at 444,000, up 25% year-on-year.
"This is a landmark achievement for LBC 97.3 and is a huge testament to the supreme talent we boast at the station," said Jonathan Richards, the station's programme director.
