BBC Radio 4 presenter Nigel Wrench was today cleared of raping a student by a jury at the Old Bailey.
The 47-year-old, from Finsbury Park, North London, had denied the charge.
He told the court he met the man, who was then aged 26, at a New Year's Eve party where they took cocaine together. They returned to his flat and had consensual sex.
After his defence urged jurors to ignore feelings of "repugnance" to the events they returned a verdict of not guilty.
