Fiver sets launch date, signs Peaches

Five Life has named the date for its rebrand to Fiver as April 28.

The channel also today announced Peaches Geldof as a presenter of its new fashion series Glamour’s Best Dressed List 2008.

She will be joined by model Daisy Lowe to review the year in fashion, with guests offering their opinions on celebrities' choice of dress. Among those joining them on the five-part series, to start at the end of the month, will be Dawn Porter, Kelly Rowland and Dita Von Teese.

"Glamour is a great fashion magazine and it is always fun to be involved with them, I’m really looking forward to filming for Fiver," said Geldof.

Hannah Barnes, director of programmes for Fiver and Five Life, said: "I am delighted that Peaches and Daisy have agreed to front this exclusive series for Fiver. It's a real coup to have such fashion icons on board – they are a great addition to the launch line up for Fiver."

Among other shows lined up to tie in with the relaunch is US reality series Celebrity Rehab. Fiver will have a new on-screen look and be backed by a marketing campaign.
