Information and video guides on embarrassing medical conditions were added to the website on Monday to tie in with the start of the television series, which is airing until Friday during primetime.
The videos have been watched more than 89,000 times and accounted for 35% of Channel 4's traffic, overtaking Hollyoaks as the site's biggest draw.
Adam Gee, new media factual commissioner, said it highlighted the importance of the broadcaster's public service commitment. Channel 4 has committed to spend millions of pounds on publicly valuable digital content as it attempts to demonstrate its PSB contribution.
"Embarrassing Bodies seems to have tapped into something that's needed and shows why there's a clear distinction between what a PSB broadcaster can do and what government services can deliver," Gee said. "NHS, eat your heart out."
