The broadcaster and jazz musician - who presented I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue on the station for more than 35 years - died on Friday aged 86.
A series of shows is being planned including a profile of the "antidote to panel games" made by Stephen Fry, who was a friend of Lyttelton.
There will also be a dedicated tribute programme, while his appearances on Desert Island Discs and The King of the Swingers, his programme about jazz, will be repeated.
The spring series of I'm Sorry was cancelled when Lyttelton was admitted to hospital, and it is not yet known whether it will return under a new host.
