Wood will depart his position after seven years at the end of this month and will not be directly replaced, according to Broadcast.
Lime's chief executive Lesley Douglas is believed to have shared the news in an email to staff today (December 17).
In a statement, Douglas commented: "I have loved working with Tony this past year, strengthening the creative team and securing a structure to take Lime into its next exciting stage as we expand into new territories and broaden our range of programmes.
"We are all immensely grateful to Tony for the legacy he leaves behind him, and I hope we work together again in the future."
Douglas joined Lime Pictures last December, succeeding Carolyn Reynolds in the chief executive post.
