James Franco has scooped the Stoner Of The Year award for his role as a drug dealer in comedy Pineapple Express.
The actor was given the prize at Saturday's High Times Stony Awards in California, which honour movies featuring pro-marijuana storylines.
"I'm so proud of this movie. It's, like, the first movie that really kind of examines what a relationship is like between a guy and his dealer. It's almost like a love story," Franco told High Times.
Other winners included Danneel Harris, who picked up the Stonette Of The Year gong for her role as Vanessa in Harold And Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay, and independent film The Wackness, which won Best Drama.
