DiCaprio to star in 'Beat The Reaper'

Leonardo DiCaprio is being lined up to star in Beat The Reaper, reports Variety.

The film, based on Josh Bazell's newly-released novel, tells the story of Peter Brown, a former hitman for the New Jersey mafia who was sent into the witness protection programme and now works as an ER doctor.

Brown's life is turned upside down when a mobster recognises him from his former life.

DiCaprio is reportedly being lined up to produce the New Regency project, alongside Bride Wars's Julie Yornand Jennifer Davisson Killoran.
