A poll of 2,000 movie fans conducted by DVD rental company ScreenSelect.co.uk has placed the new remake of Michael Caine's classic Alfie, now starring Jude Law, as one of the worst movie remakes in history.

The remake that evoked the most disgust in fans was Sly Stallone's version of Get Carter.
