Speaking for Basic Instinct 2, Sharon Stone issued the following statement to CNN:
"We who love our countries, fellow man and our families with integrity in our hearts are only drawn closer together, more loyal and brave when these acts of senseless cruelty occur. We will not surrender our patriotism or our personal dignity. We have not shut down production. God bless you."
Breaking and Entering, which has its production base in the King's Cross area, will also continue on schedule. Colin Vaines, chief of European production at Miramax, told Variety that "it's particularly appropriate that a film about people of many races working together in London should go on," adding: "If you surrender and stop working, then the people who do these things have won."
