Animated adventure Chicken Little refused to let the competition come crashing down on him last weekend, safely hanging on to the UK top spot.
The movie's second weekend of release saw it take £2.21m, whilst the previous week's Final Destination 3 and Big Momma's House 2 switched places to third and second respectively.
The week's highest entry was Casanova in fifth place, followed by sci-fi thriller Aeon Flux in sixth. Meanwhile, Oscar-nominated Good Night and Good Luck debuted disappointingly at eight.
