Mission: Impossible III may not be shown in China due to inappropriate scenes shot in the country, according to the Chinese media.
Scenes involving flashes of underwear will concern China's State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT), which is yet to approve the blockbuster's mainland distribution.
The Beijing Times reports that Shanghai scenes where "all the roofs and alleys have raggedy clothes hanging from bamboo sticks everywhere" may not go down well with SARFT.
SARFT will give its final verdict on the film this week, with an official stating that its distribution chances were "high", but some editing would need to be carried out.
