Brokeback Mountain director Ang Lee has announced that his next project will be a WWII espionage thriller based on a book by Eileen Chang.
The story is called Lust, Caution and is based in 1940s Shanghai. It will apparently be adapted for the silver screen by the same screenwriter as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Wang Hui-Ling.
Speaking of the project, executive producer James Schamus said: "Ang is going to be making a very exciting film that's unlike anything he's done before.
"Lust, Caution is a uniquely Asian story which, in Ang's hands, will surprise and attract audiences around the world."
