Daniel Craig has revealed how James Bond boss M was nearly given a lesbian scene.
Casino Royale director Martin Campbell suggested getting Dame Judi Dench's character in bed with a woman in an effort to bring new life to the movie, according to the new 007 actor.
The idea of M hooking up with Bond himself also came up, Craig added, but he himself thought that was going too far.
“We came up with all kinds of ideas for M," he told The Sun ahead of the film's premiere. “At the beginning M is the only person he cares about and she cares about him.
"He’s slightly flirtatious with her. I don’t want to go there, with it going any further," he explained. “M bedding a woman, that’s Martin’s idea. What’s great is that she’s in bed with somebody, because it shows she has a life.”
