Bruce Willis has signed up to appear in a movie about the infamous Mai Lai massacre.
The Die Hard actor will be playing real-life Army general, William R. Peers, who had to investigate the murders of up to 500 people by US soldiers.
Step Up's Channing Tatum will play helicopter pilot Hugh Thompson Junior, while Michael Pena has discussed portraying Captain Ernest Medina, who was responsible for the massacre but found not guilty.
Oliver Stone will be behind the film, who has previously covered the Vietnam region in films Platoon and Heaven and Earth.
