Statham returns for 'Transporter 3'

Jason Statham is reprising his role as delivery driver Frank Martin in Transporter 3, Variety has confirmed.

Francois Berleand will also return for the latest instalment of the hit franchise, which began shooting in Paris last week.

However, previous director Louis Leterrier has been replaced by Olivier Megaton, whose credits include Exit and The Red Siren.

Robert Knepper, who plays T-Bag in hit US TV show Prison Break, is a new addition to the cast, although no details of his role have been revealed.

The movie is produced by EuropaCorp's Luc Besson and Steve Chasman.

It will be shot over 16 weeks in France and Russia.
