Fraser, Rock to cameo in 'GI Joe'?

Brendan Fraser has reportedly filmed a cameo role in the blockbuster GI Joe, reports Latino Review.

An offer has also allegedly been made to Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson to play a small role in the film.

Both actors have worked with GI Joe director Stephen Sommers before on The Mummy franchise.

Fraser is to play the character Gung Ho while Johnson's role is thought to be Hector Delgado, also known as Shipwreck.

GI Joe, based on comic books, a cartoon series and a line of Hasbro toys, will debut in UK cinemas on August 14, 2009.
