Bond car crashes into Lake Garda

James Bond's Aston Martin has crashed into Lake Garda in Italy after a stunt driver lost control.

Brit Fraser Dunn was delivering the car for a scene in latest movie Quantum of Solace in the early hours of Saturday when he veered off the road in heavy rain.

He swam ashore and was treated in hospital for minor bruising after the vehicle crashed through a safety barrier, producers said.

Italian TV showed footage of the £134,000 sports car being winched from the lake.
