Weaving climbs aboard 'The Last Ride'

V For Vendetta star Hugo Weaving has joined the cast of Australian movie The Last Ride.

The actor will star in Glendyn Ivin’s indie film about a young boy who takes a road trip with his fugitive father.

The drama will be shot on location in Weaving's native Australia.

Ivin previously won a Palme d'Or for his 2003 short film Cracker Bag.
