Cherie Blair has revealed that her 20-year-old daughter Kathryn was unhappy with her portrayal in The Queen.

Prime Minister Tony Blair and his family were played by actors in the 2006 movie, which chronicled the events following the death of Princess Diana in 1997.

Cherie told Lorraine Kelly on LK Today: "It was odd enough to see myself being played in that film.

"But Kathryn has red hair and she was upset the actress who played her didn't have red hair. I wonder why?"

Helen Mirren won an Oscar for her portrayal of the monarch in the Stephen Frears-directed movie.
