Amanda Peet is the latest star to sign up to appear in disaster epic 2012.
The film, which revolves around the last days of the human race, is being helmed by Roland Emmerich.
John Cusack, Oliver Platt, Thandie Newton and Danny Glover are among the cast.
Peet will play Cusack's ex-wife, who has gone on to marry a wealthier man.
Shooting begins next month, with a release scheduled for July 2009.
