Why is Russell Brand dressed as Batman?

Don't panic! Christian Bale hasn't had one meltdown too many and been axed from the Batman series - the below snaps are from the set of the Arthur remake, where Russell Brand takes on the role of a playboy with just a bit too much spare cash to flash.

Notice how Russell has the slick-looking nippletastic Joel Schumacher outfit, whereas poor old Luis Guzman has been lumbered with an ill-fitting 'Burt Ward Edition' of the Robin costume!
