'Runaways' exclusive: David Bowie makeup

It's taken its sweet time, but The Runaways will finally hit UK cinemas this Friday and we've got a cool little exclusive clip of Dakota Fanning from the music biopic.

This clip is chock-a-block with rock 'n' roll icons, by the way. "Where?" we hear you yell. Let us explain:-

• Dakota Fanning is playing Cherie Currie, lead singer of '70s girl rockers The Runaways (obviously!)


• She's applying Aladdin Sane-era David Bowie makeup prior to a performance of 'Lady Grinning Soul' at a school talent contest


• Suzi Quatro's 'The Wild One' is playing in the background


• Cherie's sister Marie Currie is played by Riley Keough, who just happen to be the granddaughter of Elvis Presley
