Trailer: Peter Weir finds 'The Way Back'

Aussie director Peter Weir hasn't been the most prolific filmmaker - just Master And Commander, The Truman Show and Fearless in the space of 17 years - but with those and crackers such as Dead Poets Society and Witness on his CV he's usually got something special up his sleeve.

The Way Back, due out in the UK on Boxing Day, is based on the true story of prisoners who escaped from a Siberian gulag in 1940. Colin Farrell, Jim Sturgess, Ed Harris, Mark Strong and Saoirse Ronan are among the all-star cast. Click 'play' to get a look at The Way Back.
